Australian singer-songwriter and pop powerhouse Renee Naccari continues her high-energy dance era with the release of her explosive new single “OB$ESSIVE”, out now. After exploring darker tones on previous tracks Fantasy and Destructive, Renee flips the script — stepping into a glitter-drenched, hyperpop-inspired world of confidence, fame, and unapologetic self-worship.

A vibrant fusion of dance-pop, hyperpop, and electro energy, OB$ESSIVE channels the chaotic spirit of artists like Charli XCX, Kesha, and Slayyter. Pulsing synths, playful hooks, and a fierce “main character” attitude combine to create a fearless anthem for anyone ready to hype themselves up and step into the spotlight.

Co-written and produced by Nat J Sherwood, the track originally began as a completely different idea before morphing into the bold, tongue-in-cheek, high-energy creation it is today.

“This song is about becoming so in love with your own dreams that nothing can stop you,” Renee shares. “It’s for those mornings when you wake up feeling like the hottest version of yourself — powerful, untouchable, unstoppable.”

The release rolls out in collaboration with AED Management, arriving alongside a full-scale music video filmed inside an old-money Brighton mansion. Blending lavish luxury with Y2K glamour, the video features Catia Sini and Rihana Pearson from Aussie Shore, portraying a wild, spoilt-rich-kid aesthetic complete with fur coats, gold chains, and unapologetic attitude.

Brand collabs from Unreal Fur, Arms of Eve, and Trashy Timez elevate the colourful chaos, adding extra shine to the world Renee creates on screen.

Continuing her mantra Amplecti Chaos (Latin: to embrace the chaos), Renee positions OB$ESSIVE as the ultimate soundtrack for self-confidence, ambition, and new-era pop audacity.
