On Chill Out, Jamison reflects on the pressure young people face to have it all figured out. Through her sharp storytelling and smooth vocal delivery, she captures the chaos of navigating adulthood while trying to “just chill out” in the middle of life’s curveballs.
“Chill out is about feeling the pressure—as a young person—to have it all figured out. Sometimes (honestly, most of the time) we are all just doing other things to take our mind off the fact that we actually don’t have it all together. It’s been a huge few years for me, losing my home in a fire, relocating across the country and rebuilding my career and life in a new city—I have often found myself just trying to ‘chill out,’ whilst I navigate the chaos around me,” Jamison shares.

Musically, the track shines with brassy textures, floaty melodies, rhythmic percussion and laid-back harmonies, all contrasted with Jamison’s signature bite of sarcasm. The result is a pop track that’s both addictive and thought-provoking—complete with a key change that elevates the whole song. Fans of Wafia, Lily Allen, and Benee will find plenty to love here.
Since relocating from regional Queensland to Naarm in 2024, Jamison has made big moves in the Australian music scene. She recently hosted her first headline show and has shared stages with the likes of Double Talk (previously Greatest Hits) and The Dreggs, while appearing at festivals including Caloundra Music Festival and Yonder Festival.
Her debut single Hot Girl Thing earned glowing Unearthed reviews from the likes of Tommy Faith and Dave Ruby Howe, who praised her sharp delivery and vibrant sound. In 2025, Jamison also joined The Push, Australia’s leading youth music organisation, where she works to empower young people through workshops and training—further cementing her role as a creative force both on and off stage.

“...a timestamp of this generation... I just absolutely love her. Her tone, her delivery, I’m just excited to see what else she’ll do.”— Caiti Barker, Australia is Bloody Great – AMRAP
“Some good early talent on show from Jamison who’s giving great pop...”— Tommy Faith, triple j
“...bright bounce to match the bold attitude. A nice intro to what Jamison’s all about.”— Dave Ruby Howe, triple j
With Chill Out, Jamison proves once again why she’s one of Australia’s most exciting emerging artists—fearlessly honest, musically inventive, and unafraid to tell it like it is.
