From St Kilda’s indie heart to international stages, Georgina Ward has built a career defined by an ethereal voice and fearless artistry. The Melbourne-based singer-songwriter returns with her latest single, “Gravitational Pull” — a powerful and atmospheric ballad that explores the unseen forces that bind us together.

Produced and mixed by longtime collaborator Danny Simcic (Real Life), the track features sweeping orchestration by Sean Brown, bass from Christopher Rourke, and a transcendent choir backing Georgina’s soaring vocal. Adding further depth is legendary Jeff Martin of The Tea Party, whose haunting guitar lines bring spiritual fire to the arrangement.
“Gravitational Pull” is a song of ache and connection, where Ward’s timeless vocal quality — reminiscent of Annie Lennox and Karen Carpenter, yet threaded with the raw mood of Wolf Alice — rises above lush, cinematic textures. The result is a single that feels both contemporary and classic, rooted in soul while pushing into uncharted territory.
Georgina’s career has already seen highlights such as her debut album Matters of the Heart, international radio play, and a 26-date tour of Germany. With Gravitational Pull marking Ward is once again positioning herself as a compelling and independent force in Australia’s music landscape.
“Gravitational Pull” is available to stream on all major streaming platforms, with more releases and touring plans for 2025/26 on the horizon.
