One of Australia’s fastest-rising country voices, Chloe Swannell is back with her boldest release yet — the fiery new single “Going Redneck,” out today.

Blending gritty vocals, punchy guitars, and a driving beat, Going Redneck captures the raw spirit of rebellion that fuels everyday Aussies after a long week on the grind. From skyrocketing rent to endless work hours, Chloe channels modern frustrations into a wild backwoods celebration — a call to ditch the stress, grab your mates, and cut loose.

“I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been on the phone with friends or family, venting about how crazy things have gotten — how everything’s more expensive, and how it all just seems to keep getting worse,” Chloe shares. “One day, Tarquin came up with an idea for a song. The chorus was already written — catchy, fun, and all about cutting loose and having a good time with your mates. We started working on the verses together and decided to focus on all the everyday frustrations that make you want to escape reality.”

Co-written and produced with Tarquin Halls-Corbett, Going Redneck brings raw, rebellious energy with a rock’n’roll punch — the perfect soundtrack for tailgates, truck beds, and blowing off steam after a long week.

Since her breakout debut “Strange Love” (2023) — which hit #5 on the AMRAP Regional Charts and #6 on the iTunes Country Charts — Chloe Swannell has carved her place as one of Australia’s most exciting new voices. Her debut EP Livin’ in the Country earned critical praise and saw her tour across NSW and QLD, building a loyal following through her powerhouse live performances.

In 2024, Chloe stunned crowds at the Bathurst 500 with a moving performance of the national anthem, cementing her growing reputation as a fearless performer with vocal firepower to match. She’s also graced iconic stages including Parliament House, the Sydney Opera House, and the Australian War Memorial — an impressive résumé for an artist still early in her career.

Her music has featured on CMT Australia and on major playlists like Heaps Country, Aussie Country, Country Risers, New in Country, and Country Caffeine, earning her fans across the nation.

In 2025, Chloe’s momentum reached new heights when she was crowned winner of Queensland’s Urban Country Music Festival Stardust Talent Quest, securing her a coveted spot on the 2026 festival line-up and opening fresh performance opportunities across the country.

Beyond her own artistry, Chloe continues to give back to the music community as founder of a respected Central West music studio, where she mentors young talent and helps shape the next generation of performers.

With Going Redneck, Chloe Swannell unleashes a bolder, grittier edge — a sound that’s as rebellious as it is relatable. It’s an anthem for anyone who’s had enough of life’s chaos and is ready to crank the volume, kick off their boots and reclaim their joy!
