Australian country artist Brad Cox has announced he will no longer be able to travel to the Northern Hemisphere for upcoming shows, including his appearance at the major C2C Festival, after airline disruptions forced the cancellation of his travel plans.

In a message shared with fans on social media, Cox explained that airline Emirates had cancelled flights through the Middle East for safety reasons, making it impossible for him to complete the journey.
“Hey friends in the northern hemisphere,” Cox wrote. “I’m really sorry to say I won’t be able to make it over for C2C Festival or my upcoming headline shows. Emirates have cancelled flights to the Middle East for safety reasons, which unfortunately means I can’t make the trip over.”
The singer-songwriter said he was heartbroken by both the circumstances overseas and the disappointment of missing the shows.
“It’s heartbreaking to see what’s happening over there and my thoughts are with everyone affected,” he wrote.
Cox also expressed how much the tour meant to him personally, saying he had been looking forward to returning to perform for international audiences.
“I’m also pretty gutted personally. I was really looking forward to getting back over and seeing you all again. I love your part of the world and those shows mean a lot to me.”
The cancellation affects his scheduled performances at C2C: Country to Country, one of the biggest country music festivals in Europe, along with several headline shows planned around the event.
Despite the setback, Cox reassured fans he hopes to return once the situation improves.
“Hopefully I’ll be back over there before too long once things settle down.”
Promoters are expected to contact ticket holders regarding refunds or further information in the coming days.
The Queensland artist has built a strong international following in recent years, with his energetic brand of modern Australian country resonating with audiences well beyond Australia.
While fans overseas will have to wait a little longer to see him live again, Cox’s message made one thing clear — he intends to make the trip back as soon as circumstances allow.
